The Relationship between Organizational Culture and Productivity Effects in Hospitals of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences

Abstract:

Introduction: Development of human resources and increase of productivity as a necessity are considered as one of the main goals of organizations. On the other hand, it has a special place in the new attitude towards organizations, organizational culture and management and organizational culture can be linked to organizational efficiency. To this end, this study aimed to investigate the relationship between organizational culture and human resource effects from the viewpoint of staff in hospitals in Mashhad in 1396. Methods: The present study was conducted on a descriptive, practical and descriptive approach, which was conducted in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in 1396. In this study, according to the Morgan table, a sample of 385 people was surveyed and with using standard questionnaire of culture (Denison, 2001) and Productivity Efficiency Questionnaire (Rehhani et al., 1396), the relationship between organizational culture and human resource effects in hospitals of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences has been investigated. Results: In this research, there is a significant relationship between organizational culture and productivity effects. In general, if organizational culture is higher, the productivity effects of the organization increase. Conclusions: The findings from previous research are somehow consistent with the results of this research, although most of these studies have pointed to the relationship between culture and organizational productivity. Based on the results of the research, hospital managers can have an effective role in raising the efficiency of human resources by emphasizing organizational culture.
